Sweet Potato Fries

I came up with the idea of sweet potato fries baked in the oven only because my husband likes potatoes and fries, and i don't. I figured they would be easy kind of hard to mess up, plus they're healthier than fried food and would go with baked chicken wing cheat days.

Ingredients:

Sweet Potatoes
Garlic salt
Garlic powder
Parsley
Cayenne Pepper
Olive Oil

Here you can make as many potatoes as you're willing to wait on... Or as much will fill your baking sheet. For me it took1.5 Large Sweet Potatoes.
Cut the potatoes into little slices, the thinner they are the quicker they cook.
Lay them out evenly on a pan then evenly sprinkle with...
Garlic salt
Garlic powder
Parsley
Cayenne pepper

Bake at 375° for 30 minutes

When you take them out the fries will have shrunk considerably, flip, re-season and bake again for another 20 minutes. This helps to dry out the potatoes. The longer you leave them, the dryer they get which means more crunch and less sog.

Watch them... One too many times I've burned this "easy" snack. I can bake away but when it comes to this... I sometimes struggle.

Take them out and drizzle with very little olive oil, toss in the seasoning left on the pan and broil on low for 10 minutes.
** make sure you watch them, broiling can burn them FAST! But it helps to give them a nice crunch.
Leave them longer than 10 minutes if you like them crisper.

Let them cool for a couple minutes before serving.

Enjoy!!
