Truffle making time! Who loves TRUFFLES!! Me! Me! Me! No need to add any sugar, whatever there is in the chocolate is more than enough. I love truffles so now its time to share some EASY recipes with you!
Ingredients:
10 oz semisweet chocolate (I used 72% Trader Joe chocolate)1/2 c Peanut Butter
2 TBSP Coconut Milk or Cream
(this doesn't give much flavor just makes the chocolate and peanut butter creamier)
To melt the chocolate use a double boiler. If you don't have one use a pot with water set to high (light boil) and a bowl on top. This is very important because chocolate needs a constant temperature and can burn VERY EASILY when its directly exposed to heat.
Melt the chocolate and add in peanut butter and milk, mix thoroughly.
Once everything is combined pop the bowl in the refrigerator for a couple hours or until the chocolate until firm.
Next, with TBSP scoop (or less) scoop the chocolate out... Yes, it might be a little hard.
Roll the Chocolate in your hand to form a nice ball.
When you have finished rolling all the chocolate now you choose what to coat them in...
Melted chocolate, Chocolate flakes, nuts, coconut shreds, cocoa powder or PB2.
Wrap them in colored foil or toss them in a container for yourself ;) I wrapped these for my friends Baby Shower to make cute peas in a pod!
ENJOY!!
