Almond Butter

This is how to make simple delicious Almond butter in your kitchen.  This recipe does not have added protein but it can be added to many great protein recipes so its important to know how to make it. Or... of course you can go to the store and buy the " All Natural" almond butter but it will cost you a leg... and its LOADED with oils and sugars. Natural, ok... thats great but not when there are 20 other ingredients.  I like to make my own, its cheaper and I know only healthy goodness goes in for a super healthy powerful snack!



Ingredients:

Raw Almonds, 1 Cup
Coconut oil, 2 TBSP
Honey - I used 1 TSP

This is the part where it gets sweet... you add what you want but make sure you keep the same Liquid to Dry Ratio or you'll have almond soup... also it doesn't need to be honey you can also use Maple syrup or Agave syrup which gives different unique flavors.





Add your almonds first and blend away.... Keep blending...
Stir and blend until oils are released and you cant blend anymore.

Now add 2 TBSP of Coconut oil and Honey, or whatever you may have chosen.

Blend Again :)  Stir and blend some more... until its smooth and creamy!
